How Effective is your Online Newsletter?

It might surprise you to learn that each time you send out your online newsletter full of useful tips and information there is a percentage of your database who will never be able to read it.

Why?  Some email programs simply cannot handle html.

So if your newsletter blast is in html format, many of your valuable clients will end up with half an email in their inbox.  For every client who tells you they can’t read your online newsletter, there will be ten more who simply just delete your useless email.

If your marketing strategy for your business includes sending a regular newsletter to your clients, your target audience needs to be able to easily access the information.  Otherwise, you are missing valuable opportunities to build trust with your database through your newsletter each week.

Statistics show it takes between 5 and 12 exposures to you and your products before a client makes a buying decision, so you need to capture every possible opportunity.

The easiest way to ensure your entire database has access to your newsletter is to also publish your newsletter online, on a webpage.  You then simply provide a link to the online version of your newsletter at the top of each newsletter email.

Ever noticed at the top of other newsletters the words:  “Having trouble viewing this newsletter? View online here”.  These savvy marketers are scooping up the clients with incompatible email programs and ensuring their entire database has an opportunity to read their newsletter.   They provide a link to read their newsletter online.

A newsletter with relevant and useful information aimed at your target market is one of the most cost effective marketing tools you can use.  Make sure yours hits the mark, is online and part of your savvy marketing toolkit.
