How to Reorder or Remove the Tabs on Your Facebook Fan Page

Once your Facebook Fan Page has been created, you may wish to change the order in which the tabs display.

How To Change the Order of Facebook Fan Page Tabs

First of all, you’ll need to be an administrator of the page you wish to change.

When you visit the page you’ll need to find the list of tabs on the left hand side, below the image. The first eight tabs will be visible. After the eight tab, will be the word More. Click the word More.

You’ll now see the complete list of tabs that you have added to your Facebook Business page.

At the very end of all the tabs will be words in blue: Less and Edit. Click Edit

On clicking Edit, you’ll see a grey cross appears next to each tab, on the right hand side. You can now choose to remove a tab or move a tab.

To Remove a Facebook Tab

Hover your mouse over the Tab that you wish to remove, over the grey cross. Click and Facebook will remove the tab. It is important to note that the tab has NOT been deleted. It has simply been removed from appearing on your page to page visitors.

How to Re-Add a Facebook Tab

If you wish to re-add a tab that you have removed, you need to access the administration panel, find the tab and click Edit Settings to re-add the tab.

To Move / Re-order a Facebook Tab

Whilst in the Edit mode, hover your mouse over the tab you wish to move. A grey bar will appear and your mouse will turn from an arrow into a cross with arrows at the ends.

Click the tab you wish to move and drag it into the new position. Let your mouse go on the position you wish the tab to sit at. Then click Done when you’re finished.

With the exception of the Wall Tab and the Info Tab (which sit at the top by default), all the other tabs that appear on your Facebook Business page can be re-ordered and moved up and down as you choose.
